Masks of the Leviathan
A downloadable game
Masks of the Leviathan is a GM-less roleplaying game of actors weaving fantastic tales of blood, genius and tragedy on the stage.
It is inspired by the ancient Greek plays, Shakespeare and the like.
It uses a simple dice mechanic, as well as the Ask-Answer-Proclaim procedure for determining the path the story takes. It ruthlessly steals from In a Wicked Age the Owe list, which means that each session tells a particular story, but with particular Figures becoming recurring characters. Given enough sessions, and you will have built your very own theatrical universe!
Development Progress
Masks of the Leviathan is currently in development; the game is complete and playable, but hasn't been extensively playtested. Therefore I'm releasing the game to anyone who wants to try it out! Playtest copies are available for free, so long as you agree to play the game and send me some notes on how it went, or at least give it a read-through and send me feedback.
